Butterflies for Christmas

award_butterfly1Happy blogger Gail of The Riant Writer has honored me with the Butterfly Award for a Cool Blog. Now I can post this lovely artwork and share the happiness by naming some blogs that I think are really cool. Because Gail has already gone and named some of my favorite blogs (check out my Blogroll on the right), I am going to surprise a few people who probably don’t even know I exist, but whose blogs I have been enjoying via the weekly Poetry Friday celebration (the gift of Big A little a’s Kelly Herold).

I am sending the Butterfly to:

Cloudscome of a wrung sponge
Fiddler of A Habit of Reading
John Mutford of The Book Mine Set
Julie Larios of The Drift Record
Kelly Fineman of Writing and Ruminating
Laura Salas of laurasalas
Laura Shovan of Author Amok
Lisa Chellman of under the covers
Sherry of Semicolon
TadMack of Finding Wonderland

Many thanks to you all for sharing yourselves and your passion for literature and poetry through your blogs. Please pass on the Butterfly per these rules:

1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Award up to 10 other blogs.
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your awardees on their blogs.

  1. Jennifer, thanks! That’s so nice! I rarely check my blog stats anymore, so I tend to have little idea if anyone’s reading my posts. What a nice way to find out–you are!

    Merry Christmas!

  2. Jennifer — What a nice Christmas Day/fourth day of Hanukkah surprise! Thanks for the butterfly and for recommending my arts-ed blog.

I’m going to post some butterflies of my own when we get back from our holiday visiting.

    Laura

  3. Thank you Jennifer! How lovely of you to think of me! I will mention it on my blog, but I won’t be paying it forward due to a standing policy of not doing such a thing (long story, but it involves a good friend getting feelings hurt once upon a time, so I abstain, rather than risk upsetting anyone!) Still, I very much appreciate your kind thoughts and words.
